I didn't know about Geary. he was a great guy

when he passed away, I sent a card down to his family and received back a beautiful card with a photo of Dave and his bird. we both had cockatiels and would PM each other about them. we've had some great people on the site and so sad when they pass. Joe was so vocal both here and on facebook...

they will be missed along with Dave Drane. he was such a nice guy.

I've call him out all the time. please don't make it sound like I am defending his actions on the site because I am not! I just don't believe a mob mentality is a good idea either for good reasons or bad.

this poll isn't a great idea. call him out in a thread if you don't like what he is saying, I do. setting up a poll to crap on him is just as wrong as the reasons you want him banned. I am not good with the attempt to rally a mob to run him out of town on a rail.

that is a good point as they've added to stuff to paint to repel dirt and it also repel everything else. we've run into problems with double sided tape so it is very possible that the undercoat of paint is repelling the top layer.

is the white we're seeing the latex paint or is it the PVC?

wow, that is bad. it looks like it is worse at the top of the sign. are the edges of the wood sealed really good? could the wood be damp?

I am not attacking you, just confused after the "let me get this straight" thread. you clearly pointed out issues with the site. other forms of social media are out there for these kinds of topics so not sure why you prefer to use a sign site for them.

how about dark blue for the name and light blue for the bricks? I'd stay far away from anything that is brick colored.

true about the content and if a person makes the choice to partticiapte or not but that content, or seemly lack of content is directly connected to yoru first point, anyone can join. once a site allows that, all the rest of the list happens.

the long time users has dropped off and I think it is because of all the printer questions which don't interest me either. I miss the design threads, real design threads that is. now it seems there are only "what font is this?" and "my printer no work, me thinks broken?" threads
