  1. Our Van Wrap

The roof was really an after thought. I think it is pretty strong though. When I first finished the wrap there was no plan for a roof. However, the white roof just really took away from all the great artwork, so I thought go big or go home. Looks much better with a roof.
  2. Our Van Wrap

Thanks guys, we went through several versions. I'm glad I was patient. Looking forward to a small fleet of these.
  3. Our Van Wrap

Thanks to Dan for great logo work and layout. It certainly is bright, so we are excited to see how it does in the city.
  4. Korographics VS Phototex

Well finishing up printing on two 180ft rolls of Abaco Korographics with the HP Latex Printer. Although I saw a little bit of heat effect on the material, it was so minimal, installation will not be a problem. I'll post some pics tomorrow after installation. Thanks everyone.
  5. My first box truck install

Wow take a week or two away from this site, and miss a bunch of entertainment.
  6. Korographics VS Phototex

OK, so I ordered 4 rolls of Abaco Beach Finish, should be here Friday. I am printing on Latex Printer, you have any success with that ink, without lamination?
  7. Korographics VS Phototex

Have you seen the new Phototex in the New Fellers catalog? 25% stronger, so it is very attractive. Problem for this job, is it is a fancy architect stuck on that one Koro product, so no escaping that. However, I wanted to find out for a job this size, if Phototex is a viable long term indoor...
  8. Korographics VS Phototex

Hi all, so I am working on a project. It is about 1100 sqft of wall covering. I will put up some pics when we are done. Primary question, is Korographics simply in another league than using phototex? I realize one requires a professional wallpaper installer, and the other is adhesive backed...
  9. A Job Board that works for me

Geez guys, why not just go to SignVox. It is a program only useful for guys/gals who like the stuff you are talking about. We have been using it, and it changed our business lives. It is like everything you are discussing, but on steroids. Yes, it is a little over 100/month, but if a shop can't...
  10. Nissan NV material recommendation

You have to use 1460... Different world.
  11. 1614 Questions

Start with the simple nozzle check. If any of the lines are missing, that needs to be addressed. It could be pointing to aging head, or vacuum issues which point to the pump or maintenance station. If the nozzle check is good, run some solid colors. What you are looking for is uniform color. If...
  12. Nissan NV material recommendation

Avery has 3 types of lam, and I believe they have one specifically for this application. Don't know the number off hand. Then there is the technique. Some simple inlay separate pieces, and are happy with that, they explain to the customers the pros and cons, and then go from there. If you or...
  13. website layout option - opinion

The top navigation has the same links that flyout when you touch Sign Types. Also on the bottom of the page is another list of the same products.
  14. website layout option - opinion

Definitely not a template, but I know what you mean. Which version do you mean you liked better? I posted my home page the other day, you mean that one? It is still the same. These pages will be the product pages. Thanks for the responses for those that responded.
  15. website layout option - opinion

So I am developing the product pages of the site now. Just looking for opinions on these two layouts, which one seems more appealing at first glance, and any other comment is welcome. The one with less verbiage and more pics, seems more appealing to me, and I think to an audience. The one with...
  16. Reworking the website

Well I've settled for now on this as my homepage style. www.vivisual.com
  17. Need your help testing on our wrap material

Car wrap vinyl is not reviewed or measured by testing a 5' sample. True test comes from days, months, years to see if it fades, peels, cracks or holds up. If I saw a review on material that said "we tested a 5' piece, it held up well" I couldn't take it serious. Nor do I suspect any serious...
  18. CNC HDU Sign

Never done these kinds of signs before. I am about to buy our first router. I don't mean to hijack your thread, but maybe you or someone else can answer my newbie questions. On the picture you showed in your first post, how does one go about painting this? Supposing the letters are to be red...
  19. Avery 900 Supercast bad lot possibly?

Unfortunately, I've seen a few rolls of Avery with that same blotchiness lately. Very disappointing and frustrating. I ruined an entire wrap because of it. Fortunately they (avery) honored a new roll of material.
  20. Square Post Boulevard Banner Supplies

Or, do you just use any of the brackets, because they work on both round and square posts?
