Just tested this and I defiantly have vacuum on a calibration print. Almost sounds to me like it might be honoring the preset setting now instead of the default. I would have to test on presets that have high vacuum settings to know for sure.
Firmware: NEXUS_01_12_00.11
Are you saying something has changed on the latest firmware that even the default vacuum of each media type does not turn on?
I know that the calibration and test prints don't honor your preset vacuum setting but did always use the default vacuum setting for that media type.
I am surprised that Onyx does not have the capability to address the Z2100 Aqueous as an RGB device. Most RIPs that I have looked at can address almost all Aqueous printers as RGB devices. Makes in much easier to get the full gamut of these printer that way. Profiling these printers as a CMYK...
You should also be able the Z2100 as an RGB device which will have built in ink limiting. I have always found that with Aqueous printers (especially more than 6 ink ones) can be quite a challenged to profile it as a CMYK device. Do you have the option to do pre ink limiting before you start the...
I am not a fan of i1PublishPro 2 for creating CMYK profiles. I can create great RGB output profiles with it but have never been happy with it CMYK output profiles. I have tried a lot of settings but maybe I just never hit on the right ones. I have Fiery Color Profiler here and the Profiling...
Have you tried to create a job ticket form in Quickbooks? You can add a good bit of columns and fields. You can print out a sheet to follow a job or with a multiuser setup for Quickbooks others can enter that in as steps are completed, or they can just choose another form for different stages of...
Are you talking the onboard test or calibration prints? If it is a print job from the the RIP try increasing vacuum to about 80. You could also try upping the Inter-Pass delay to let the ink dry most before you out another pass of ink down. I think it is more the ink than the heat but you could...
Here are the settings I use. Still a challenge if you have a large ink load. Use SAV setting as it has more vacuum by default if you plan on onboard testing or calibration prints. I am assuming the onboard print doesn't use the preset vacuum setting on the L370 the same as the L360 does. I would...
Are saying that hitting the emergency stop button will not raise the roller? Machine does not appear to use air, so what mechanism does it use to raise and lower roller?
Does sound like a breaker tripped or fuse blown. No strange smells when it stopped?
I have looked at the manual and I don't see any reference to a max light. The only blink lights that we have on our Seal 6100 ultra are when the light beams in front or behind the rollers are blocked. Is this what you are referring to.
