Yes I am aware of JJ Short. I talked to them as well. I was just hoping I could find a used roller somewhere. Well the roller is out and created so it will be on its way shortly. I guess I can be glad it is the top main (hot) roller so I can use the pull rollers for PSA lamination.
GBC - Seal tells me they only stock parts for current models. This should be a warning to any of you considering used Seal or GBC laminators and also new ones as they don't seem to interested in maintaining parts. Some people I talked to weren't very impressed with GBCs customer service.
This laminator is a perfectly good and operating laminator. At the end of last week on a thermal laminate job on the top heat roller the bonding agent that holds the rubber to the roller failed and is loose and will come up like bubble up when being used.
After looking for a replacement roller...
There both good high end RIPS. ColorGate is actually a great RIP if you don't mind dealing with Windows and if it comes bundled at no extra cost I would give it a try. The big advantage with Caldera is you don't have to deal with Windows. If I ever put money into a new RIP again I am going...

Profile customization? Are you saying you can adjust black generation and ink splits, etc?
Or are you calling the Media Presets profiles for some reason?
Get a service manual (should be a links here) and check each curing unit. There is a test for the curing units. If one is not heating properly you will be able to see that.
Sounds like an Onyx issue so may be best to call Onyx support.
Why not just implement Side A and Side B on the printer and print from Onyx like normal. Rotating Side B if necessary. I have two RIPs I can run the L360 with and neither one control double sided printing, but implementing it on the...
Might be because wiping the media would make more sense. Seems there is still a number of things about the L560 nobody wants to talk about especially whats improved from the shortcomings of the L360.
