Just tested this and I defiantly have vacuum on a calibration print. Almost sounds to me like it might be honoring the preset setting now instead of the default. I would have to test on presets that have high vacuum settings to know for sure. Firmware: NEXUS_01_12_00.11

I will have to check that out. Can't remember if I did a calibration print since I installed the latest firmware.

Are you saying something has changed on the latest firmware that even the default vacuum of each media type does not turn on? I know that the calibration and test prints don't honor your preset vacuum setting but did always use the default vacuum setting for that media type.

I just checked and Caldera, Colorgate, Fiery XF all support the Z2100 as an RGB-Contone device.

You should also be able the Z2100 as an RGB device which will have built in ink limiting. I have always found that with Aqueous printers (especially more than 6 ink ones) can be quite a challenged to profile it as a CMYK device. Do you have the option to do pre ink limiting before you start the...

Are saying that hitting the emergency stop button will not raise the roller? Machine does not appear to use air, so what mechanism does it use to raise and lower roller? Does sound like a breaker tripped or fuse blown. No strange smells when it stopped?

I have looked at the manual and I don't see any reference to a max light. The only blink lights that we have on our Seal 6100 ultra are when the light beams in front or behind the rollers are blocked. Is this what you are referring to.
