You can wipe it down with alcohol if you really want to use up that banner material.

I have to remember that. Have you talked with Lexjet? They are pretty good about replacing or return bad media.

I will check my settings next time I fire up the printer but I print on DigiMag all the time. I thinking I use 20 pass I can get 120% ink density. Not real sure about the temps though maybe 85 to 95.

If it can be turned into a spot color take a spectro and read in the color value and turn that into the spot color.

If the color you are specifying is not a Spot Color then did you assign a working color space to the file you sent? If not the vendor has to guess and could have guessed wrong when converting from your colors to the output device colors.

You might need to clean the rollers. If you left any media in the printer that has plactizers that come to the surface like Ultraflex banner it will contaminate the rollers.

When you build your linearization and profile on the RIP for the L260 you should have an option to use CMYK or CMYKcm.

So on the L260 does eliminating the lc/lm inks correct the problem like it does on the L300s.

I my samples of the light gray, if the lc/lm printhead is not being used it doesn't show up. With the purple since we don't know the light link splits we don't really know. I would love find a reason for this other than the lc/lm printhead but I can't.

Interesting idea but that doesn't account for my samples I posted previously. The same gray border with the same nozzles firing there is a difference when the 4' of gray was printing and when only 4" at the side was printing. This shows up both at the beginning and at the end of the print. And...
