You're absolutely correct. 8 people at 700k isn't the best.. but it's still VERY good..for 3 years
We estimate $140k per employee, and you're in a good spot. The reason he has so many people
is because he's manufacturing, and installing. With that type of sign work you need... NEED that many...
They obviously live together. The business pays their gas, cars, phones, insurance.. etc etv, i can tell you that. She has no need to make money RIGHT now.
Starting our business i didn't pay myself for a loooooooooooooooooong time. It's all part of the process
hah. What a ridiculous statement.
He's going to make 700k a year on his 3rd year in business. He has the right people in place to do the job. He may be obnoxious and dense, but he cares about being successful and doing well.
they're doing absurdly well for the short time they've been in...
We are been growing at an excessive rate over the past 2 years. I've always struggled in finding ways to keep my installers and production guys organized. They have a hard time following ways to stay organized... Last year we got a bunch of tablets, installed a software and have been using that...

We can't quote those.. literally. We're not even that big. there's 7 of us.
Our overhead doesn't allow us to do these small jobs. At 300$ to do that strip kit. That's what 2-3 hrs? We wrap a Uhaul in the same amount of time, and make 4 times the price for just an install price. It's just hard...
Also, wait until you see the blacks off this machine.. oh my.
also a few other things. The onboard spectrometer is halfway decent in this machine. It takes about 20-35 minutes to create a profile. Well worth the time. We've only really made profiles for IJ180. The HP cans are great for banners...
We have 360s.
We can run them at about 150 sqft an hr.
the older models are half the speed.. and for the 360 we literally have to destroy the material before the ink scratches off.. it's a great unit so far.
Doug you're not the only one with issues trust me. I've had a few of these printers over the years. I recently upgraded to the HP Latex 360.. I honestly was on the edge about ever using HP again.. but after others have had such good results with the newest version of that machine.. i'm giving it...
