If the manufacture recommends no wet install there's a reason.
As mentioned above it can rust the vinyl. Also it kills the integrity of the adhesive in it.
You won't see too much of a problem on flat, but anything contoured you could see some issues.
Huge waste of money. This is solely my opinion.
Before we had a flatbed, 1 guy would EASILY run a 4x8 in 30 seconds through a laminator by himself to mount sheets.
I have the latex 360. It's worth the 5k.

the 360 has a take up. It has a cutter to cut media off, and it's faster. the 360 is 64" wide...
It also has a huge touch screen display and displays an image of the printed image.. pretty sweet setup.
