I'm about half way through the first roll. I really like the vinyl, it goes on nice. I wasn't impressed with the lam, most of the roll is cloudy, not enough to not use it but enough that I'll stick to 8518 most of the time. Kevin

Until HP gets laminate to stick to their "scratch resistant" inks I wouldn't buy one. Those of us running them are doing so with crossed fingers. If I'm doing it over again I'd probably buy another Mimaki. Kevin

I have had solvent printers for 12+ years, and have never seen a print fail due to lack of outgassing. If I have time I let them sit overnight but if I don't have the time I have laminated right away. Kevin

There can be some twisting around screws with anything but I stopped using 40c over a year ago, it's crap. Had to re-do quite a few projects that were curling at the edge, like you have at the trailer seam. Kevin

Have not used MDO for about 5 years. Ditch the wood and use 6mm Max Metal, less time, less mess, longer lasting signs. Kevin

Just got an e-mail this morning that Grimco has bought Pioneer Supply. Any thoughts? I like Grimco and I like Pioneer, but I like the idea of 2 companies to compare. I'm pretty much left with one choice for things, which I don't like. I also hope Grimco keeps Pioneers large selection of things...

Ummmm this is not cool, I just switched to a HP less than a month ago. I read this thread today and tried it on a print and it seems to pull off easier than it should. I'm not sure that it is bad enough that it will delam on it's own but it should stick more than this. I would encourage everyone...

Hey Big Fish, since you sell both can you give me your honest opinion on this? I was in a shop with a 330 the other day and hated everything about it other than the no smell, I hate the way it loads, unloads, the take up reel etc. Is it just me?
