  2. Having problem with Printing please help me out !!!!

Your printer prints that quality of color?
  3. City wants STRAPS sewn through banner

Correct, I don't think anyone has the equipment to do what they want, if I recall it's laced sewing, pole pockets, hemming, certain size and type of rope, etc. EDIT: Oh and also an exact mil thickness and density, so you have to order a custom roll of material for it.
  4. City wants STRAPS sewn through banner

Nobody has the equipment or cares to spend all day making a single banner.
  5. City wants STRAPS sewn through banner

Not in my city. They ask for a lot more than webbing. Plus if anything is wrong or not done exactly to spec, they refuse the order and won't pay. It seems most sign shops in the city won't do it, they now have to source to out of the area shops. I've spoken with several sign shops that won't do it.
  6. How to do a fade on a curved line ????

Drop shadow, I know it's been answered.
  7. City wants STRAPS sewn through banner

Our city is the same, they want a 10X reinforced banner to hang over the street. It's more hassle than it's worth because it has to be exactly 100% to what they ask for or else it gets denied. It actually gets inspected first. Not worth the headache.
  8. Print and cut

Most of my stuff is laminated too, but when someone wants a bumper sticker or yard signs don't need it because the vinyl and ink will outlast the coroplast anyways. Some people want a temporary patch to put over something, etc.
  9. Print and cut

I highly recommend a print and cut. It's quite a hassle to go from one to another. If it's not laminated, it finishes it 100% when it's done. Everybody has their preferences, but I love Roland. It's a little slower than some, but great quality and they are workhorses with a high resale value.

  15. Sign Shop Meme

I don't quite understand what you meant by this post? But meeting face to face is best so there is no one else involved and we can talk things out. Some members on here fuel the fire and make things worse. By cutting them out, we can come to a resolution.
  16. Sign Shop Meme

Oh that, yeah that was awhile back. We barely did installs and only really started in 2014, when I found out I needed a contractors license to pull a permit, I freaked out with my pending jobs, but took my tests and passed, been good ever since. I understand not wanting to use your license, it...
  17. LED Box Cabinet Supplier Needed

Anyone know of a good wholesaler for standard 4' X 8' LED box cabinets? I've used Sign Faces but they have a 5 week turn around time. I don't need the face, just the UL listed cabinet. Thanks

  19. Sign Shop Meme

Where did the contractor license come from??? You have a Class C BSC and a Class A ELE. Not sure where that popped up from. Borrowing one of your installers wasn't because you were committed, it's that you didn't want one of your employees helping another sign shop is how you meant it. Give me...
