  1. Cadera profile : HP universal Bond paper?

    Has anyone found a Caldera profile for HP Universal Bond paper? I found what is supposed to be a group of profiles for HP Papers, but the download file appears to for ONYX. Anyone?
  2. PRIMER AND PAINTS New member Question

    non cupped, bowed. We were trying to finish them ourselves via lumberyard. But shorthanded, cost of labor moves us to buying sign ready, two sides. Thinking we could save time by only having to fill, seal and paint edges. But, even paying the premium, it seems that the quality of MDO has...

  6. Craft Paper :: L25500 Latex printing?

    I think I will roll with 30#. It seemed to print fine - perhaps if I keep the heat down and pre-roll it all the way to the take up reel, that will add enough tension to keep the edged from curling. I don't want to go too heavy, of the vacuum won't keep it down.
  7. Craft Paper :: L25500 Latex printing?

    Did you create a profile or just run the HP low temp poster profile? Other than heat, I am not too concerned. Color is obviously not important since it's on kraft. It's really just for a stamped, step and repeat. What pound do you usually go with?
  8. Craft Paper :: L25500 Latex printing?

    Update - had some paper drop cloth from Lowes. I transfered it to a 3" core and it printed beautifully. As things started heating up, I am speculating that the edged started to curl and I the carrier caught the leading wedge. Thinking I may order a 60" roll of Craft from Uline and mess with...

  11. Textile printing

    You printing Latex Pat? Decent results? I was looking to do some exterior canvas banners with some material from Fisher. Haven't run it through the machine yet - actually, the job never materialized, so I forgot about it. Anyway, they say they have some decent Caldera profiles.

    All that being said - i am loving some of the samples from Fisher Textiles in NC - and looking for an excuse to use some of it.
  14. Textile printing

    We are a little strapped for time and man power at the moment. By the time we research and purchase inventory, set up and print on a new fabric, then finish it properly, we would likely make more money sending it out for someone to do it properly the first time. Plus, we are slowly recognizing...
  15. Textile printing

    Awe snap. Thanks for keeping it real, Pat. If there is a merchant member, that would be great. Outside recommendations accepted as well - since this is somewhat specialized.
  16. Textile printing

    We are doing some interior design / install work for a tech client. We want some printed fabric panels. This is an interior space, so we would prefer it not be a solvent print. Panels are 27" w x 84" h and 61" w x 90" h. 4 color printed. Thinking a heavy cotton. Anyone know someone that...

  20. Purchasing a trimmer...

    Curious, do you have a dedicated 10' table that it sits on? We have been thinking about getting one, particularly for cutting large foam core panels (would like to cut the full 96"). I just don't know where I would store it -
