Neither, I cut the letter shape from 1/8" plywood on a scroll saw, then added the epoxy putter and formed it by hand. My first try at it, I'm happy with the results. The Modern Masters paint is what really made it look nice. The finish looks much better in person.

All your work you've posted here is solid in my opinion. There is some good criticism in this thread from some talented folks. And there's a lot of negative criticism from guys I never see any real work posted from. I think you know which carries more weight. :)

Did you prime it and paint over it with an exterior latex acrylic paint? If so, I can't imagine it would wash off. If not, I think that was the issue.

It seems I remember there were some members here that did offset printing. I acquired a Challenge Floor Paper Jogger that I would like to sell, but I don't know where printers go to buy used equipment. Any sites you would recommend with classified sections? If I can avoid ebay, I'd like to.

Not unethical at all Scott. The freelancer is working for you when he or she is doing the design. Personally, when I worked at a sign shop as a designer, I hated it when the salesman let the client come in to meet with me. I always thought he's the salesman, he should be the customer's...

I agree with the above sentiments about that bulldog. Alone, it just seems out of place, especially since it's overpowering the main message. But, maybe if you put a wrench in it's mouth and some corn stalks in the background, it would work.
