What program are you designing with? Are you exporting to EPS files for Versaworks?

You say it's resolved by reloading the preset. Are you printing with Versaworks? If you are using Versaworks, go to the start menu, find versaworks, and right click on "Initialize Application" and run as administrator. Caution: This will wipe out all your settings. But it may solve the problem.

What makes you think it's a network issue? If the entire mainboard is freezing up mid-print, it won't respond to ping requests. The printer itself may be the problem.

Use a hair dryer, not a heat gun. High quality vinyl like 751 is easier to remove than the cheaper vinyl.

From my experience, as long as the software you're using supports the machine, you don't even need a windows driver installed on the PC. The machine is directly controlled thru your software program such as Versaworks or whatever you use to plot. Having a windows 10 driver for the machine is...
