Thanks for all the info. Do you have to use a lot per sign or just a couple of strips will do?

Is there more then one type of VHB tape or just the one and is good for most type of installations? I'm using it on aluminum signs that are 24"x36" either 0.80 or 0.40, I'm not sure where the customer is going to install these signs but my guess would be a brick wall I think.

Depending on what resolution your printing at, 360x720 8 pass C0% M0% Y0% Y0% K100% or 720x720 8 pass C60% M40% Y40 K100% I get nice deep blacks on my Mimaki with them mixtures

Now I feel left out, I never got any happy tape on my box I got from them, lol

If you score from the unfinished side then you will get a nice clean cut on the finish side

Here's a picture of my almost 8 year old print heads test print, I just printed it

I have a Mimaki JV3 160SP and it uses the DX4 heads I bought it in 06 and the original heads are still perfect, plus I do a lot of printing with it. So knock on wood they are still running strong.

Did you try flatening your image

If they don't need to be contoured cut, print reverse on clear then back it up with white vinyl, trim to size and install on inside of glass

2500 will get you some good design software
