Plans? Ha! We don't need no stinking plans! LOL Really...folks it's super easy. it's just one of those things you do by looking at it and then you add or take away details that fits your particular construction skills. It's all based on 4x8 sections, "tied" together to...

  7. Wall Easel anyone?

I worked in a sign shop area for a large exhibit company once that had three huge rolling/locking easels. Each were 4 ft. x 40 ft. and they all were built on a 30° angle (did that come out as a degree symbol?). We had a roller on the ends of them that could hold 36" transferRite tape...

  9. font id help

Well, it's not really specific style of type at all. It's just a hack drawing of some letters that sort of looks like the STP logo. Just trace it by hand (actually pen it out) with a fine point permanent marker on a sheet of frosted acetate or something equally as tight..... and then scan it...

  11. Gosh, 2 in one day!

Well, the "J" and the "M" are definitely a match with "Berthold Diagonal"....everthing else has been made up of other fonts and/or hand drawn. In fact, there's a good chance this whole word has been hand drawn or hand-cut from film. ~Gear
  12. Gosh, 2 in one day!

Looks like a home-made version of BERTHOLD to me Colin. "Le Bastardo" I think is the name for these types. ~g.

  18. New computer freezing.

Very well put Techman. You obviously know your stuff. While in the union I did a lot of signage installs up north at the various MS campuses and on breaks, I would sometimes get into talks with the upper-class techs there (Serious "Geekdom") . And your words ring true...especially about the...
