When ever you go to purctohase 2nd hand equipment with software, it is your responsibility to check with the software company to see if the software is transferable. just purchasing it and having a dongle doesn't mean its a legal .
if and when cleaning a window with razor scraper make sure the blade is Stainless Steel and not carbon. Carbon blades will scratch glass!
Also alway keep it wet
Check with one of you local electrical suppliers they may have them or can get them, but their price is usually higher than sign supplier. When I told one of my local electrical supplier what I get them for he said it was lower than he can get them!
It doesn't matter what the another company charges they have different overhead. If you are in business you need to figure out what you need to make to stay in business and grow. It may be as simple as (material + markup +(length of time x hourly rate))= what you charge
If the boss want to route them, then as Brad said the old one make templates for a hand route with the correct bit :-{)
they would be routed then. just not CNCed.
Yes I do get it, you are the one that doesn't, if you assemble these with multiple units/modules, it still need to be UL. Like I said originally UL parts doesn't make the cabinet UL. Hope nothing seriously go wrong for you or you may be in a heap of trouble installing something not correctly...
Assembling a sign cabinet from UL listed parts doesn't make the cabinet UL approved! If you do not proved supplier name and part numbers and also have these signed UL approved I don't see hao you can put customer at ease, in my area all signs need to have to be UL approved.
If you are manufacturing an LED sign are UL certified, what will happen if you go out of business will another sign company be able to work on get parts, are you supplying a schematic with part number for future service.
