  1. Reflective 3M in contours without bruising

IF anything could work it would be 3M IJ680CR. I would do a solvent print and laminate it with a real thin gloss laminate.
  2. Fast track 1300

    X2 on the plotter doctor
  3. Large colored panels - Wrap Film or Regular Vinyl

I would use 3M180c-black vinyl. No need for 1080 black on a box truck.
  4. dull streaks in Edge 2 prints

You really should laminate them, some colors only last a few months outside w/o lamination. We have been using Edges here for ever and we always laminate the prints.
  5. dull streaks in Edge 2 prints

Can you still see it after lamination? If so, it might be the head going south soon, or just needing cleaned.
  6. How does my FX recognize how much foil is left on a spool?

There is a little (RFID?) chip/counter that is behind the label on the EdgeFX cartridges. it isn't 100% accurate. The standard Edge foils have the length remaining printed along one edge of the material.
  7. Roland EJ-640

So, what does that lower the price to now?I haven't priced Rolands in a while.
  8. Best way to achieve this look?

here it is, shot it back to you also. just did a couple different lives traces and layered it.
  9. Best way to achieve this look?

Send me the better quality pic and I'll doctor it up to give you a better starting point if you're only trying to get from photo "A" to image "B". jfiscus224(at)msn(dot)com
  10. Best way to achieve this look?

Always the pen tool. You will get intimately familiar with it if you do this project. However, if you don't have the time/energy; then I might suggest cutting the car off its background in photoshop and then trying out live trace in Illustrator. That will get you a rough/grungy effect.
  11. GSx 15 plus

    I am guessing around $1500.
  12. Anyone recognize this van model?

    Ford transit van
  13. Best way to achieve this look?

Just start drawing it; it's gonna take a while. drawing things this complicated it is best to use a different layer for each part of the car (say a door), and to go ahead and set up a custom pallette to maintain color consistency across the piece. I redrew this artwork for a customer from a scan...
  14. Wrap premasked install ?

It probably has spray laminate on the prints. We get a lot of stuff shipped in like that, not as much as we used to, but still a decent amount.
  15. syringes

Tractor supply or any other farm supply store. I would assume that if you went into a pharmacy and explained that you needed syringes to siphon fluids, but no needles that they would sell them to you also.
  16. slider board compatability?

I have someone who should have a part for you. I will PM their contact info to you.
  17. A similar image to this?

I think those are supposed to be willow branches but I couldn't find anything easily. I would just redraw them; should only take 15 minutes or so.
  18. who sells a yellow vinyl that can be used on concrete in parking garages?

I think this is what you're looking for... http://stop-painting.com/
  19. Never done that in all my years......................................

Not me, myself, but I've seen some very similar situations. At the old shop we had a VERY impatient salesman who wanted a proof cut down "right now", I told him I would get to it in a minute. So, he grabbed a rectangular blade to trim it down with on the table, but pressed down on the wrong side...
