  1. Selling your business

Not sure how it works in the US but here in Europe we usually buy worthless (looking) businesses for financial benefits. A business with 29 years constant positive profit may be eligible for a greater loan or non-refundable financial benefits from the government. So there may be many aspects you...
  2. Changing Versacamm from White ink to all color

In the past I had both cmyk+LcLmLkOr and cmyk only printer, the difference does not justify the speed, there is minimal difference on gradients only. Another advantage for CMYK is that you need to stock 4 cartridges and you know you're good, but you cannot pre-order Lk as it expires within a...
  3. Pad printer needed

    Lol, sounds expensive.
  4. Removing 3 year old Sign Paint from Windows

Sometimes I use the liquid in the waist ink tank to soften up the residue and paint on the glass. It work like charm.
  5. Roland VIS SG-540

Well no. If you KNOW the machine comes with inks by default sellers cannot use the 'i'll drop a set of ink in if you buy it today' card, but you know this better than me, don't you?
  6. Roland VIS SG-540

The question was if ROLAND includes the ink, and NO, the machine does NOT come with inks.
  7. Rant Roland SG-540

Oh, and cutting accuracy was also a joke . Return it while you can and get yourself a mimaki ;) Check out the offset printing pattern on the blue cardboard for reference.
  8. Rant Roland SG-540

Yep. Mine had problems with bidirectional printing too, not only banding.
  9. Rant Roland SG-540

Check out mimaki cjv150 it has built in cutter comes with inks, epson DX7 heads not truevis's el cheapo fireflex 900 dpi heads and take up system is included too.
  10. Rant Roland SG-540

They'll send new parts until you finally gave up or no longer entitled for free return. After a while a tech will start saying that this is what TrueVIS machines should do and it's your fault for being a cheap-ass and you should have bought a more expensive machine.
  11. Roland VIS SG-540

Ups, looks like one Roland dealer got upset :D
  12. Roland VIS SG-540

Just avoid truevis. Check the reviews.
  13. Roland VIS SG-540

no, mimaki cjv150 on the other hand does, it also includes the take up system which for roland is extra
  14. 3m ij35c peeling off. interior latex paint. what to do?

Did you let the print outgas before cutting to size? I always wait at least 24h before cutting otherwise even lightest ink layer will make the vinyl curl up.
  15. Getting the best possible print from my VS-640i Printer.

8 color configuration needs 20 passes while 2xCMYK needs half of that for the same DPI. I have a 8 color Mimaki, make a print file and send me the printed version+ file and I'll print on mine machine and take a photo side by side if you wish.
  16. I need help finding this clipart.

That's 2 designs composed. Why don't you redraw it? It's a 20 minute job or let somebody do it on fiverr for $5
  17. ROLAND BN-20 DID NOT COMPLETE THE PRINTING

This sounds like a typical BN 20 print head problem. You need to change viper, capping station, dampers. If this doesn't solve the problem you need to change ink pump and all the flex cables, if this is not enough Im afraid you need to change printheads. Good luck.
  18. What do you use to dust off prints?

I'm using a 'roller fuser' from an old copy machine, it work great, its tacky enough to pick up dust and weak enough to leave small vinyl pieces. It's also helps when I need to apply masking tape to larger decals.

just my two cents: my machine works only with USB 2, it does not work with USB 3 (blue plug or SS inscription)
