Try to print unidir, if that's good it's probably encoder strip issue. Also try to print bidir but set a 5 second pause between scans. If the result is good then the media does not accept ink fast enough (in this case you shouldn't have the same issue with light colors)
The machine compensates the values for every print resolution. It has a value for 720dpi, 1080, 1440 etc (this is why the error appears only on feed direction). You can find an online PDF how to set it up properly, until then you can cheat and use registration marks. With registration marks I...
That's a very honest approach, but did you know in the US it's perfectly legal to sell 5g sugar bags with 'SUGARFREE' label on it since the product contains 5g or less sugar?
The ink is pure pigment in solvent carrier liquid that evaporates leaving behind only the pigment encapsulated in the...
Pad printing is the only way to customize hard hats. What I try to tell you that it's not an easy money. A used 5 color machine is around $5000, if you make $1 profit on each hat (I don't think you can make more than that with ink, plate making, labor) that's still 5000 hats to do just to return...
No money, no knowledge, no business plan. Well I would advise you to get hired at a local sign shop, learn some stuff and find out what you can do and what clients do pay for. 5k is half the price of a professional grade entry lever printer.
A good pad printer with multiple colors was a really good money maker a few years ago, but nowadays the flatbed UV printers takes all the jobs, better, quicker, cheaper. So the question is whether the hats alone will bring you enough profit. I use my pad printer only to stamp the "fake postal...
Dust creates a lot of problems when printing small labels, so I made a little device the other day to eliminate it as much as possible without surgery clothing and 'clean' room. I though some of you may find it useful.
This little device is attached to the printing 'box' with round magnets as I...
Happy to hear your printer works as it should, that's not very common with TrueVis. What I've told about the printhead is not fake news, I used to have a SG540 - it's not just specs from the net. What about cleaning cycles? Do you find it acceptable?
Not sure about Mimaki UV but TrueVis
As far as I can remember my tech told me that Truevies uses ricoh gen 4. Mimakis ricoh gen 5 is totally different monoblock printhead very similar to epson's DX series.
1200 dpi? - I was able to print 900 dpi max on my SG540. Also 1440 dpi it true as they alignit in the factory on a single head, but 900dpi is only theoretically, just like laser printers where one color is 600dpi and they multiply it by 4 so theoretically it's 2400dpi. But we all know that a...
Did you hear about google? I typed in 'jack daniels vector' and -believe it or not- got about 1000 freely downloadable vector files. It's literally one of the most used designs by tshirt makers and if you say you checked it on google before asking here I'll eat my hat.
