We have bid a couple jobs for them in our area and dealt with home office in our area. They are very aggravating to deal with and if there is one thing they are looking for is CHEAP. Whatever plans they ask you to bid on is not what they end up with and we finally told them to just quit calling...
funny this post came up. We have a new Piggly Wiggly a few miles from here and they wanted "nice" aisle signs. After quating "nice" me and the gf dropped in one day and they have 1/8" coro that was given to them by cocacola (insert eyeroll...should have known.
If it were me I would small cable...

tell your customer WATCHFIRE or DAKTRONICS or nothing...plain and simple. I have bid several jobs for LED message centers and have lost all bids to imported boards and over short length of time saw these fail.
looks great! the ONLY issue I have is (and not that you asked) is the stand offs are too large and they are distracting and there is too many. other than that is rocks
and to add to this below is a customer I quoted. The building signage does not face the interstate but only to one direction which means you have limited time to read it. I advised against halo lit because thickness of letters would cut down on visibility.....what did they do? Went with another...
those stand offs should have been black and I agree no halo on this on, some dudes just dont have any sense to advise customer what to do and what not to do
