down here, price rules! they dont care if you do them a layout that would knock peoples socks off, price rules. I dont even try anymore, I have lost most of creativity because of this...it is very sad
use lacquer thinner. punch small hole in the can and squirt on windows, cover them quickly with newspaper, that will hold the thinner on the lettering, it will make this job alot easier. Not too much thinner it will spread itself on newspaper
there is a PetSupermarket here in town that has this on there letters and it looks great. Its like someone took 1/2" x 1/2" thin aluminum angle iron and melted it to fit around letters. Looks so much better than damn jewelite. That was the first thing i noticed when they moved here. I have found...
DO NOT buy this machine. Get a summa. I owned a Q plotter from signwarehouse and for some reason after 2 years it messed up. I ended up throwing it on ebay "as is" and bought a summa. It wouldnt track long runs over 12', it was literally a POS. Support wanted to charge me (of course, as I said 2...
you can sit at home and make no money with less effort. NEVER count on one customer, it will never last.
Get out there and build some more clientle and let this one go. Possibly one day they will come back to you, if not I hope you enjoyed the ride while it lasted. We have all had our feelings...
damn! that is going to be one hell of a mask for that picture. IMO that pic is to detailed to be painted off a mask. As long as I have been painting walls I wouldnt attempt this and if I did it would be so high they counlnt afford it
My suggestion is to do the pic on a substrate and install on...
this right here! PITA customers get an inflated price and tell them we can handle your stuff in 2 weeks we are backed up.
PITA designers at home are told to go packing OR I like to put them thru hell to get me what I want. Make no mistake in my early years i spent alot of time trying to please...
I lost a job 3 weeks ago to a large corporation that said they do NOT pay money up front. It was a $48k job. Aluminum monuments with raised brushed aluminum lettering 7-8' tall 6 of them. If you are that important that you do not pay for services offered to you I dont need to deal with you. This...
with your budget, unless you find one for sale locally from someone desperate, you aint gonna get what you want. As kanini said build an enclosure for it and pack some insulation in it
first off take that one shot and throw it in the trash and get some metallica latex. We always brush paint on the seam of the masking first and make sure you brush away from seam. One Shot is too thin to try and do this type of application
Ive sprayed vinyl shutters and had no issues, they must of sold him some oil based paint. Why anyone would use oil over latex is beyond me. Oil does not last like it once did
I despise glossy bubble letters....at the least!..use minnesota letters., they look like the aluminum ones and are much more classy. Gemini plastic had its day back several years ago but i think they loook cheap and tacky
