Whoever sold the printer to you was wrong then. The VP prints a lot faster then the SP. There are a bunch of little upgrades as well. Too late now..you have the SP. lol

did you try adding some noise to the gradient in photoshop??

what is your computer doing while you are printing?? is it just a rip/print machine? or are you checking e-mails or converting image files or on S101 etc...

I'm not sure how to find the corrupt font but maybe you could try using font management software and just load your basic everyday fonts? Just a thought...

The VP is far less mantenance which means less headaches. The big upgrade on the VP for me was roland encasing the reader strip in the back of the machine. On the SP it is exposed so any dust or grime can and will dirty it up which will cause strange printing problems. I also noticed much less...

If it is vector You'll need to open the original vector file in Illustrator and change your "document Raster Effect Settings" to the desired dpi in this case 150. Then Select "object --> Rasterize" and save your file.

Thanks all!! So it turns out most monitors these days have a VGA connection anyways. So my mac store guy and all of you were right! I just picked up a cheap samsung LCD and its is working fine. Man I thought I was gonna die (not literally) without internet! that can't be good! lol

K I have it working without any banding. I am using the "high Quality" setting (thank god these are small prints) uni-directional. Going to take forever but no banding :) haha :thankyou:
