  3. Got to love customers

10:15 I would have tried to call him. If he didn't answer I'd send him a text. At 10:30 if I still hadn't heard from him I'd go on with my life. After that he's got to figure out a way to come in during regular business hours.

  5. Need a Place to Find Product - Very Large A-Board

We've got several around town that hold 4'w x 6't. We had our welder make the frames from 1" x 1" square tube steel with a center brace across to support the sign panels in the middle. The hinges are welded to the top. We do the panels on 3mm coro and put three grommets down each side, the...

  7. What do you wish you would have known when you first started screen printing?

Assuming "DON'T DO IT" is already understood the first thing I'd tell you to do is to set up with UV inks right from the start. A whole lot more forgiving than Plastisol inks and a lot fewer headaches.

  12. Lance Armstrong doped....

Nope, just tired of hearing about him being a great guy because he has a foundation so it's okay he screwed a bunch of people. Kind of like I'm tired of hearing the Tim Tebow doesn't really suck, he's just being held down because of his religious beliefs. Kind of like I'm tired of hearing it's...
  13. Lance Armstrong doped....

He also had reporters fired for questioning his doping, had others essentially blacklisted for doing it, the team doctor was used as a mule to transport drugs across international borders for him, he stole the lifetime of glory and any financial gain from legitimate competitors who rightfully...
  14. Super fine letters NOT made of vinyl..

    Back to this stuff.
  15. Credit Card Telemarketers

I love it when they call and tell the they're going to have a salesperson in my area in the next couple of days and want to know if he can stop by. I'll always agree and tell them to send him over, when they do I tell them just to leave their best offer on the counter and I'll look at it later...
  16. PITA customer - need a favor from a couple of you

If you've got a trade agreement then you've got a trade agreement. You still owe him $3600 in trade, not cash. If he suddenly can't come up with $3600 worth of sign work he needs that's his problem, not yours. Regardless of what the wrap design looks like he did agree to let you do it and...

That poor GTO has been through hell.
  20. Used summa any good?

Buy it. I'll never go back to Roland after using my Summas. The best thing about Summa, to me, it their support. Call them, tech support answers the phone and they actually know what they're talking about.
