kevSign and SignStudent gave you a MUCH better option. We threw away a box of the ones you posted. Even a light breeze had them on the ground, even indoors. Plus, that back leg kept kicking out.
Have you considered doing retractable stands? http://camdisplays.com/html/roll_ups.html...
Do the math first. The honest math (not that math people use when justifying buying a printer).
Unless you're selling the bejesus out of some sandblasted signs you're gonna have a hard time justifying the expense.
The few I do I simply design, mask, and take to a local commercial sandblaster...
What everyone else said.....contact the city and find out what the requirements are to have someone towed. Then call a towing company and find one who will tow at your demand and impound the cars and make the car owner pay all the fees. Then go tell the computer shop that you're going to start...
Yeah, I'd say Bass Pro Shops is tossing it's weight around there.....and it's considerable weight. They can lean on a little mom & pop shop long enough to put them under if they want to. Drag is out in court for a couple of years, get an injunction to stop them from selling anything until the...
Leave you broke and trying to sell your body at the airport for another jump?
You're gonna be alright Mosh. Watch a couple more Guy on a Buffalo videos and take your kids to do something ridiculous. Focus on the people who make you happy, you've got to cull the others.

I think the rest of my day just got shot. Pre-made papercraft templates that you color on screen, print, and assemble.
Who knew that every grocery store in America carried chrome wrapping materials?! A few creases and wrinkles to work out and a little trimming to do but for $2.47 a roll even Cheap Vehicle Wraps can't compete.
I remember when the art supply store I was working for had me throw THOUSANDS of sheets of the stuff in the dumpster, along with hundreds of the storage/display cabinets because computer typesetting had killed the market.
The museum here uses is simply a laser print on 3-M matte clear decals. The decal practically disappears when it's mounted. They print rectangles, mount them, and unless you get the light at just the right angle you can't tell it's there. I use them all the time for putting sponsor logos on...
Material cost per 4x4 sign (metal, vinyl, tape).....$55
Sign 1.....$55 plus one hour labor = $120. Profit - $144
Sign 2.....$110 plus 1-1/2 hour labor = $200 Profit - $184
I think you're offering too large a discount on the second sign. You could offer him 10 mil coro but that's really...
If your main focus is banners you don't need a printer. You can buy them wholesale, with finished edges and grommets for under $1 psf. You'll have to do about 75,000 sf of banners before you've justified the cost.
Just my 2¢ worth of opinion (backed up by simple mathematics.)
