simply purchase a NULL MODEM cable..

this is a serial to serial system. Use a null modem cable from the serial port on the computer to the port on the cutter. serial and parallel looks alike,, So check to be sure you are plugged ito the serial port.

all you need is a NULL modem serial cable. and you can use a 25 to 9 pin adapter. Not a cross over cable.
