Just got a 100 gallon speed aire from a friend. Still need to install, already ran the 220 line. Will hard line the fab area so I don't have hoses all over. Can't wait to get it done.
If you want a clean, machined cut a triple chip carbide is the blade you want. You don't always need that clean a cut but changing blades on a panel saw is a pita. And yeah, spending that cabbage on a saw blade makes me wince too.
I have a two year old blade on my saw. The original lasted a decade before it needed replacing. It can be sharpened again, I just haven't done it yet. If you use a panel saw properly the blades can last quite some time. If you have someone running it improperly (usually being in a hurry) it will...
Have used them for years. Every once in a while they screw up but usually handle it. Just recently we have had a heck of a time getting them to make a repeat order. It's like they have newbies on the phone and they did indeed have a lady who was leaving that left a good size job hanging and put...
Just replaced old stripes on one with knifeless tape. Nice stuff. Have a big one in now we have been on for three days trying to get the diamond shield protective film off the front. Evil stuff. Adhesive is sun burnt almost to black and it is a hideous monster.
Lazy susan for a jig on a table saw. You can cut one in wood if you like and use that as a template for router as well. If I had a bunch to do I would use the wood jig and router with trace bit.
I have been using Illy and corel forever. If I had to give one up I think it would be Illy. That being said my Signlab imports pdf, eps, ai all just fine. I use corel to convert files to jpeg for proofs, to import some files and mostly for the huge corel clipart collection I have.
2 galvanized tops broke into pans covering wooden tops on rollers. 15 years old still doing just fine. Blades are cheap. Nice that magnet sticks to it also, makes it very easy to work on roll magnetic sheeting or to use scrap as hold downs.
When I see that it is a call on caller id that is obviously not a customer I always answer the phone with "Thank you for calling Dominos pizza will this be pickup or delivery" they hang up and remove my number. If it turns out to be a customer they get a kick out of it when I tell them why I...
Just me but I would use Lord's adhesive for mounting hardware to sign and mechanically fasten mount to building.I would also consider using a french cleat top and bottom for easier mounting to building and maybe a couple of small pieces of angle on one side to stop any possible sliding. VHB is...
Signlab is my go to program. Been using it since Casmate. That being said I am proficient in Corel, Illy and Photoshop as well. I probably use Corel second most often. Adobe products when I have need. I have used flexi and Anagraph, prefer SL over every thing else.
