i end up working late most of the time. leaving at 7-8:00 is normal late is 11:00 or after. sometimes i just sleep at the shop (cot, sleeping bag, and alarm clock plus when we moved in this place i had the owner put in a shower) it doesn't matter how early i get in i still end up working late...

do some searches there are a lot of posts about flatbeds on here. from what i have read and talking to sales people the agfa's are good machines, alittle higher price supposed to be worth the money. we recently got the roland lej640 great for the price but definately won't meet your needs

i think with clear vinyl you don't want to install wet, i think it may leave imperfections in the vinyl (water marks or streaks) and if you cut the mask right at the edge of the decal it should be fine (print the vinyl with a box around the trim edge then mask then cut )

we do the same but with .010 and we use pvc or styrene

we have 3 rolands (vp540, xc540 and lej640) great machines. and we really don't have much issue with the print cut system (especially if you are supposed to wait for out gassing before you lam as everyone recommends) are you keeping the old sp 540? if so you should be able to cut your prints...

i have done it on my rolands many times. the only issue i have encountered is i have to print using the high quality mode to get the best print results and remove the pinch roller clips(not sure if your machine has these but on the rolands there is an issue with the material sometimes sticking)
