These are all mass produced entry mats. I'm more interested in doing the high-end, one of a kind inlay/carved stuff. The rugs I offer will be more geared toward trade shows, homes, and high-end businesses. Not that I'm stuck up or anything. :)

I was wondering about this. I was at a local home show over the weekend and noticed that even there, many booths had nice rugs, and some had custom rugs in the company colors and saw at least one with a logo in it. So maybe trade show companies should be my target market...

Thanks all for the comments. I think I've decided to go with the circle to keep more of an icon/logo look. Here's another using the suggestion of taking part of the 'N' to form the '!'. I liked the quirky original '!' but I'm sort of leaning toward this cleaner one now.

Yep, this is pretty exciting to hear. Its so cool to me how in this age of digital printers, wacom tablets, and vector programs that something as simple as a paint brush and a can of one shot can be so thrilling.

Well, I have been working on this logo off and on the last week, but in color. I decided after Joe's post to scrap the color and go to just B/W. I might just stick to one color on this, since I'm going for an old-school feel.

I'm working on a couple interior faux antiqued signs. I have a couple of Blick Gray Squirrel quills. Can I use these with waterbased paint? I was thinking of trying the Ronan Aquacote or maybe just an acrylic house paint. Has anyone used this before for lettering work? I'm not a sign...
