  1. Mexican Bar Sign

You guys are absolutely right about the orange. I was unsure about it. I like this better. Thanks!
  2. Mexican Bar Sign

This is a layout I completed today. I like the way it turned out, but open to any suggestions...
  3. Video sample

I agree with Tiki. Teen. One of my favorite fonts.
  4. Who wants a job?

Wow...nice. Looks like a great company to work for. You don't need an off-site designer do you? :D
  5. New Script coming soon.

Just drooled all over my keyboard. What about a nice package deal for your buddies here on Signs101?
  6. Playing with my logo a bit...

I'm tired of my old logo. So I had Weaselboogie come up with a new mascott (although my old one by John Deaton was great) and I'm trying to put it together into a retro-style layout. Thoughts? Suggestions?
  7. New Logo

With a name like Kiwi, there's so much you could do! I agree with Jill, try some greens instead of Red.
  8. My left arm for a good employee....

Well, if I was in your neck of the woods, I'd be inclined to take that $15 an hour. That's a fair wage to start at IMO. But, maybe outsourcing would be a good idea in the meantime. I'm sure you could find a designer willing to work right now for $25-30 an hour. There may even be some smaller...
  9. Looking for inspiration...

    Daaanng...that one would be fun!
  10. Corel x4 Changing ALL of one color at a time

Or, you can use the Color Styles docker. Right click on one of the colors in your drawing and change it. It's not 100% perfect unfortunately, but works well 75% of the time.
  11. Have A chance to buy a Roland PNC1100 CAMM 1 - 24"

However, if you can get it to run, those cutters are built like a tank. Very reliable (although a bit slower than modern machines)
  12. Self promo partial vehicle wrap

I think it's a GREAT image for advertising. And it fits very well with his company image. Shows that he helps companies 'emerge' from their current image and morph into something better. :D A handshake on the other hand is kind of trite and overused.
  13. T-Shirt Design

Nice! Remember guys, it's not a sign, it doesn't have to be readable from the highway. :D
  14. Marketing books?

Jon Aston is the guy. That guy really knows his stuff and is 100% professional on all levels.
  15. Critics welcome compliments enjoyed!

It's a nice layout. I agree though, there's too much script. Use the san serif font for the names. It'll make it more pleasing. BTW, I think in this instance you did NOT break the font rule. I count 3 fonts. That works with this layout. Is that what you were referring to when you said you...
  16. Some Recent Wrap Designs - Kickin' it old school; Simple & Clean

Great work! Oh if only everyone stuck to good layout techniques on wraps. I can't believe you didn't throw any diamond plate or carbon fiber in there Dan?!?!
  17. Ice Cream Logo

    per your suggestions....
  18. Ice Cream Logo

Thanks for the suggestions... It's for an Ice Cream shop not a brand, I should have clarified that. So Ice Cream being more prominent is a good thing. But I agree, the outlines need some work. They're muddying up the name...
  19. Ice Cream Logo

Any feedback would be appreciated. C'mon Jill, you know you have some good suggestions for me. ;)
  20. Quick Logo this morning

Excellent suggestion Jill. I always love your feedback!
