We have Vuteks here that use the SPECTRA 256 heads and the Seiko Heads and each came with its own wash station.. I would love to be able to port over my oldest wash station to see if I can use it as a recovery for my DX 4 heads.....

how well does it print Solvent?

super glue??? Typically the tape supplied from the vendors for those thing suck to begin with. IF the Material isnt thick enough for the grip to hold it, maybe just adding a layer of vinyl at the top with some HH66 Cement on it would work better.

We run ours on a QS 2000 UV. Dont do much else with it.

The Herculite is usually my go-to material for that kind of need. The issue with it is the limited sizes available...typically 54 and 75 in widths. BUT I do think it is superior to the ultraflexx. Pole banner seems to be a new product so the jury is out on it still. We got some in to print on...

You're right Dave....EFI owns fiery and bought Vutek a few years back. They were using Colorburst for a while which I still use and find quite suitable to my needs. I recently got a copy of Fiery XF from EFI and am not sure how it works quite yet. Am going to attempt to install and see how...

+1 We just did a run of slope maps for a client on 13mm PVC but he specified the material and did not ask for suggestions. My suggestion is Coro. Depending on placement, someone crashes into it....its more forgiving.

How difficult is it to install printheads in an XC 540? Do I have to get into the maintainence side of the printer in order to do this? Plan on taking it slow and all. Plenty of experience doing this with my big printers...but not the roland. Thanks for the info!

Bordeaux has been around for a long time. not sure about how it will run thru the printer in particular. I have a roland with Sericol inks and im getting decent results. make sure though you have it outlined on paper as to how they determine bad ink or if a problem was caused by ink or...
