I get about 8 off these numpty customers a year.
I just wish I would learn and show them the door when they walk in our shop.
They seem to come in acting like they are the business that will end all businesses and conquer the world!
I just look on these jobs as a challenge to give the customer...
The thing is when this guy came into the shop he was bad mouthing everybody that has been doing work for him (painters, decorators, electricians, IT, etc.)
Guess who will be next?!
I just rang him back and he thinks it looks great!!!!

I like the idea of meeting face to face but I am not willing to waste yet another 40 miles worth of fuel and time on this dead beat job.
He has asked for some more flyer designs of us so I will wait till he comes back in (I have his only copy of his artwork so he has to come in for it).
I will...
Last week we had a customer opening a shop in a hurry.
He came in explaining he had spent a fortune on equipment and the interior but had little left for the signage.
At this point I should have shown him the door as it makes my blood boil that signing a shop is always the last thing on people...
I reckon you will run into problems (blocked heads, etc.) eventually.
I've fitted a bulk ink system to our valuejet and ink cost is no longer an issue so I have upped the amount of times it does a clean.
To be honest I think you are doing your machine more harm than good.
I have found these...
I say separates also as both the printer and plotters spend all day plotting and printing.
I reckon I would have to live at the shop if I had a printer/plotter as the days at long enough now.

I have already searched google and the images are not good enough as they are paticular store fronts.
I have seen something done in the shopping centres over here which looks a little more like what I'm looking for.

I have been contacted by our local town planners to submit a portfolio for artwork to shop windows.
This is to advertise a currently empty shop so as to give the impression of what it would look like as a open business.
I know this a long shot but finding generic high quality images of shop...
The material we are using was the alternative and has worked OK up to now.
Spoke to the manufacture and they gave us some new heater settings for this material and it is a lot lower than we have ever used on a vinyl.

Our Mutoh VJ1604 is behaving itself at the moment.
But we are having problems with head strikes.
I have checked everything on the machine such as :-
Temperatures on and across all heaters(front, middle and rear).
I have unclipped all the rubber rollers and cleaned them.
Cleaned the grit roller...
Is this supposed to be a part of a red curve?
I have never seen that before.
It could be a wiring issue as you have had the print head replaced.
Maybe it has come loose.
I'm struggling on this one!

So what was the point of sending samples out if the material you will be selling is now different?!!!
I think you better had start sending samples to who you originally sent samples to, so as to confirm it is "better".
Also if a supplier is sending a sample for wrap I always insist on a matching...
We design in Signlab which is set RGB and save as a Level3 EPS and print out using Wasatch 6.2.
We set up colour management right at the start and colours have been consistent.
Calibrate Monitors and Scanners so at least you are starting at a set base point.
Colour management is all about a...
We get this all the time.
No amount of Artistry or programming skills will improve what you been supplied.
Insist that for in order for their vehicle too look professional you must have a lot higher quality image to base this design on.
Their is nothing you can do with what is supplied as once...
