Help someone as I cannot get it running again and I have a pile of work to do and a stack of ink cartridges that will not work!!!:frustrated:
How can I downgrade???!!!!
Thanks
SC
I am running Nazdar inks and it now will not accept the cartridges since upgrading to V2.00!
I had no idea this would stop me using other cartridges!!!
Does anyone have 1.09 firmware so I can downgrade back?
Help this is very very urgent.
SC
I have updated the board and heater firmware on our VJ 1604.
It was previously on v 1.09 and now shows v 2.00.
The question is this though:-
What has been updated/changed or added?
It seems the same!
SC
I have managed to go onto the Mutoh site and download the latest firmware V2.00 files but I cannot download the Mutoh Maintenance Engineer programme.
So I need help with this?
I am sitting at V 1.09 on my VJ1604 so it needs sorting.
I have downloaded the valuejet status monitor in hope of...
I didn't want to change the firmware because I am a firm believer in "if it ain't broke don't fix it."
I think our VJ 1604 is still on firmware 1.09 and it has functioned perfectly as that.

I don't know if this is a contaminated Black Cartridge Problem.
But the Blacks I print from RGB now look like they have a Red/Magenta tinge if looked at from different angles.
I have not changed inks or materials and I am processing all my prints as a RGB.
Nothing has changed so have I some sort...
Well I knock mine off on the button.
I thought this put it in sleep mode and kept the cleaning cycles running!
This now concerns me because if this is correct, over the last 4 years my machine has been switched off completely and didn't get any cleaning cycles!
Is this maybe why the print head...
I wouldn't blame the installer for this.
I reckon they would of told the customer that this was gonna be a nightmare wrapping black.
They probably gave him two options, the properly applied and the cheap one and he chose the later!
SC
Hi we still have one of these!
But just use the plotter as it isn't a bad plotter at all being graphtec.
The printing side is HP not Encad and this is were the problems start.
Not only is the media expensive the ink sets are stupid expensive, and HAVE to be laminated for them to last longer than...
We have this error whilst it is sitting idle with the power button on.
I gathered it was in sleep mode when the power button was in the off position is this correct?
I'm still struggling to figure out which valve 1234 equal CMYK!
My yellow ink indicator is still going down!
SC
In round the back of my printer their is limited space so I can't get in without moving loads of stuff and the printer!
So listening for which valve it is isn't an option.
SC
I have came acroos this before and have managed to disconnect below the valve and pull some more ink through and this clears it.
It normally happens on the black and understanbly blocks more often as the black is the densest colour.
I am cycling the valves in the secret menu.
But it says valve...
My question then is how do you get the middle 8'x4' correctly positioned/sized in a 24'x4' sign?
Because their is no way of fitting it as one complete print.
SC
This is a problem we have had for a long time.
When fitting a 8'x4' digital print onto a 8'x4' sheet it can be up to 1/8" either side to short!
This is even when laying the print on the back sheet onto the panel it fits perfect!
We are hindging from the middle and applying with 2 people.
Do I...
After 5 years we have now paid of our VJ1604.
But in reallity it was paid for in the first 3 months of ownership!
In the life times menu list it reads:-
Head ****
Pump *****
CR Motor ****
PF Motor ****
It has about 5 Cyan nozzles out and 1-2 Black ones.
The Magenta and Yellow are fully...
