A friend of mine Nick Collins (www.seenickdesign.com), has given classes on aging and so forth for different effects. Not sure if it is identical to these effects, but those kinds of classes are available. I think a lot of the guys giving these classes are in the amusement industry/ Haunt industry.

Umm, not that I am aware of. You basically need a media that has a special coating on it for dye/UV water based inks. Not to mention the core size is different, though if you have it some designjets have the 3" core adapter.
