Its hard to cut all right. My big problem is that masks with thin synthetic liners slide all over the place. So I experimented and put transfer tape on the liner side after wiping it off with alcohol. Works (mostly) like a charm.
I love our Summa S140 T series. It was a huge upgrade over our Graphtec.
The tangential cutting is a must have. Yeah its a little slower but we love the accuracy. Especially when it comes to small fonts and such. Plus the tracking is always spot on.
Only thing I wish it handled better is...
It depends on what I am sending. I try to keep the format the same. eg: vectors saved as .eps and photos and other raster based graphics get sent as flattened tifs. If a file has both vector and raster then I will export it as a flattened tif.
Its really not a big deal which way you do it...
That whole catalog/company with the cowboy redneck aesthetic just doesn't do it for me. It comes off as creepy and weird. You are selling sign supplies. Not horse tack. But hey I'm a hippy in the NW.
What is the advantage of printing on a display film then using optically clear adhesive to mount it? Why not just use a clear adhesive vinyl?
It seems like adding in an extra step for no benifit that I can think of.

What are they talking about when they mention RGB printers compared to CMYK printers?
Would an RGB printer be something equivalent to our office printer like say a HP Deskjet?
The i1 Photo Pro2 says it can profile RGB...
