  1. Newest Install

    Respectfully disagree. Marquee letter boards are pretty classic (and a hell of a lot more classy than LED message boards will ever be) http://tinyurl.com/75jzyvd Great job!
  2. Having problem with install.

    Can you tap the holes first with a very thin nail? Then, use progressively larger drill bits, always concentrating on level entry?

  5. CE 5000 Print + Cut question

    I just create an arbitrary cut file with registration marks to verify that it was not the file. It consisted of 12" x 30"" box, with registration marks. It recognized the first registration mark fine (miracle). Then, only advanced 8-8.5" to look for second mark, instead of the 31+" necessary.

    We are having an on-going print cut battle - This is our latest problem: For some reason, after successfully reading the first (of 4) registration marks, it only advances 13" or so in attempt to read the second mark. In this case, mark 2 is approx 52" away. Again, on the rare occasion we...

  13. L25500 :: non-stop substrate jams

    This morning it happened on our free HP Permanent adhesiveness gloss, but it has happened on 3951 as well. It also happens on 13 ounce ultra flex banner. I will monitor the environmental numbers more closely as things are definitely heating up in SC. But today, the humidity is 49% and room...
  14. L25500 :: non-stop substrate jams

    As if material gets much to hot while print job is starting, warps material and catches head. Non-stop.
  15. CE 5000 Print + CUt

    ...can suck it. It takes me about 30 tries to get the damn thing to read registration marks. Today, it won't read. But instead of returning to it's origin point, it cuts a diagonal line across the entire print. What gives?!? Carry on.
  16. Relieved of my Duties
