  1. For anyone looking for a good backup solution

I have burned through three local geek businesses since growing into our current location. I was straight with all them and outlined my very basic needs (work station building, creating back-up routines, simple file sharing, and some sort of on-call systems management) I assure you they were...
  2. For anyone looking for a good backup solution

I was looking at that one - but cnet seems to love this one: http://reviews.cnet.com/network-storage/synology-diskstation-ds712-nas/4505-3382_7-35057147.html?tag=mncol;lst Is Drobo really that much more plug and play than the rest of the RAID market? GP
  3. For anyone looking for a good backup solution

Well this is the information I was looking for - so please excuse my duplicate post in the Premium section. Unfortunately, this is all over my head. I wish someone would just tell me what to get so I can concentrate on making money! GP

  7. Making Decisions - Banners we Offer

We have learned that we cannot base our business practices on on-line pricing. And sadly, with few exceptions, one-off banners would not be enough to live off of, especially if Mosh was set up around the corner. We stand by our quality, design experience and customer service - the customer...

  9. Does the search function work for anyone else?

Good to know. This has bothered me for quite some time, but I didn't want to nit-pick on the extensive efforts of Fred & Co. It seems like it used to be a lot more accurate in pin-pointing search results. GP
  10. Where do you buy your brushes?

Since Santa forgot I wanted to start hand lettering this year, I am treating myself to some brushes? Where do you get your supplies for lettering / sign painting? Based on earlier advice, looking to get Mack quills, in odds or evens. GP

  13. How does one survive raising a teenage daughter?

This breaks my heart. I wasn't the easiest child. Not horrible. But not easy. I thank my folks every day. Give her love. Give her support. But don't give her everything. Make her earn it. Good luck and merry christmas. GP

When I was more of a kid, I had a four legged dog named "Bimmer."
  17. New business card layout...Thoughts?

PS - I had no idea there was a Circleville, OH. I always thought it was a knock on the on-going circle vector art joke.
  18. New business card layout...Thoughts?

Perhaps. It's really the bottom of the words "CIRCLEVILLE" and "AND" that I find distracting. The darker bottom lacks contrast with the outline and becomes muddled. GP
  19. New business card layout...Thoughts?

What if you nixed the gradients and went straight orange? GP
  20. New business card layout...Thoughts?

I would adjust the skew on the speech bubble to make the text a little more legible. GP
