Hello, I tried printing Silver Medal 2 today but when the edge fx ask for the foil and I insert it. It says that it is the wrong foil. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before. I checked and made sure it is correct in Omega but I cant figure out why the error persist.

Put me on your list of resources. I'll deal with them head aches. :)

Something with metallic gold would be fine. Just not Metal and not flat gold either.

Old post but figured I give an update. Summa never sent me the print samples and that turned me off so I bout and EdgeFX Printer. So far done about 4 jobs in our small time with the equipment and the clients all loved them.

Are the ink jets catching up or the latex ? How are people doing the clear white and chrome metallics now a days if not on a thermal printer?

I print a lot of Sport Helmet Decals.

Client decided to go with Traffic Grey. At first I thought he wanted a metallic dark grey foil. The regular spot will be fine. The convex laminate makes them shinny anyways. Thanks J Hill.
