  1. Irony, you know it when you see it.

It looks like a box of Oracal 651.
  2. Wrapping ATMs - adhesive issues?

Mac-Tac Rebel HT or Avery 2126HT EZ, I can totally vouch for the Rebel, have been using it since it hit the market and have stuff 6 years out in the field that still looks great.
  3. How should I do this?

You can accurately cut that length without issue, just make sure your dead straight(obviously) and then just make sure you have no kinking as it feeds back and forth and it will stay true. For premium or thick materials, I'll feed the entire length of the job then cancel back to origin to...
  4. 51" LAMINATION ON 54" VINYL?

We have an old pneumatic cold laminator, probably from the early '80s, and for about the last 10 years I've ordered 53" lam from our supplier(He cuts an inch off for a nominal fee). It works great and a HUGE time saver because if you have any lam overhanging the edge it has to be trimmed off...
  5. Roll adhesive on back of styrene

I've used velcro dots for similar projects, 99% idiot-proof for install and you'd be surprised how well it holds up in non-kid environments.
  6. Question What Printer would you stake your business on?

I ran well over 300k sq. ft last year and still cranking rolls out daily and they still look great. Did have to replace the condenser, but it's the first one our tech has ever had to replace and he services quite a large area.
  7. Need Help Summa Cutting Half Circles

See if 'paneling' is turned on under the OPOS menu, if it is try turning that off.
  8. Summa S2 T160 auto cutting leading edge

Not normal at all...if the firmware update doesn't work I would call Summa support and see if they have any ideas.
  9. Epson s40600 size

Well the printer comes with 2 pipes that you slide through the 2" holes you see on the under part of the printer frame, where the printer connects to the stand. These pipes lock-in, so you have to tilt the entire printer carriage(without the stand) until you can fit through the door. You need...
  10. Epson s40600 size

    Dimensions:103" x 34" x 53" (2616 mm x 609 mm x 1346 mm) W x D x H Weight:615 lb (278 kg) You need some muscle to tilt it through a 32" door but it can be done.
  11. ‘Double sided’ banners

Not really possible on a Colorado 1640, the 1650 on the other hand, is supposed to support double-sided printing.
  12. Question Card Perforations in Postcard. How to?

I've done similiar jobs using Micro-Perf applied to a 12"x19" piece of 3/8" Lexan, works well for short, medium runs, and rush jobs. It's also a good shoulder, tricep workout on card stock at least.
  13. Colorado 1640 Ink (Shelf Life)

Find the biggest supplier within a 1 day-ship and order exclusively from them, and you'll always get "fresh" ink.
  14. Need Help Media profiles - Onyx/Epson S80600

A little outdated but I believe the process is still very similar. Sorry misunderstood the OP. As for the printer, its irrevelant, just use the same setting you do for standard vinyl. The only setting at the printer of any importance is the head height and print side in for reverse wound...
  15. Flexi automatic cut

Try using just the summa barcode server, or just the flexi barcode server but not both at the same time.
  16. Need advice / test prints on a epson surecolor

A SureColor will do what you need all day long Micheal. I do full color heavy coverage on the regular on Orajet 3641 unlaminated with Oracals 3651 profile in flexi with zero curling issues and very minimal dry time typically.
  17. Additional Pinch Rollers

Add the pinch roller, it will pay for itself over time without a doubt, things just simply track better. One thing I have noticed over the last many years is that calendered vinyl with gloss laminate definitely doesn't track as well as matte laminate, gloss is more prone to kinking when the lead...
  18. Very frustrated with cutting. hp 315

It's not that easy to see the warp, place it on a table and put a straight edge on it. I would recommend lowering your heat as low as you can and increase the print passes. I lived your current problem back when the L25500 first came out and it takes some dialing in but I'm sure you'll sort it...
  19. Very frustrated with cutting. hp 315

Are you printing on low-end material that is massively warping while printing? Try printing on some cast vinyl and I'd bet they cut much more accurately.
  20. Disabling Epson S60600 Auto Cleaning

In the grand scheme of things it doesn't use that much ink and does an excellent job of keeping your printheads clean. I've been running that machine a couple of years now and when it calls for the manual swabbing the printheads are usually very clean already. The quick clean it does just...
