Just to explore a little- is accuracy impossible largely due to potential variability of things like the illuminant in the viewing environment and/or manufacturing variation in the optical clarity of the print film/clear backer film used during measurement?

Just to mention what I actually did- I decided to try out Grafix Clear-Lay Plastic Film, .003" thickness. I used a slot laminator(GBC H700 Pro) to adhere the printed clear film to the clear plastic film. The Barbieri Spectro LFP RT read the charts well. Thank you again to all who commented.

Could you mention how it failed? Were you able to get profilemaker, colorpicker, and/or measuretool to start?

I use Profilemaker 5 and its related components under windows 10 regularly without a problem.

You may really need to have someone create a custom profile for you as opposed to using a canned profile.

Lexjet, Sihl, Breathing Color/Permalite, and many other aqueous inkjet media producers also offer solvent inkjet printable materials(canvas too). If you want to print on fine art materials, you can use classic uncoated artist papers that you might find from Fedregoni, Fabriano, Zerkall, and...

I was wondering if the Flexisign RIP as supplied for the Avery Dennison TrafficJet printer can use the spot colors (red, green, blue, and/or brown) as part of an extended gamut process color inkset configuration(CMYKRGBBr).

Ergosoft has an advantage in the quality of its extended gamut inkset printing as well as the control it gives to the user over the ink limiting and linearization processes. You also have the best control of the patch count and size of all test charts.
