  2. Slowdown????

We had a very slow winter, ever since mid-November. But things have slowly been gaining steam since April and now we are slammed. It's like everyone held off what they were going to do and now they are all trying to get it done now.

With the angled serifs, using Bookman and stretching it wider will work.
  6. Can't open Corel

Pressing F8 when starting Corel Draw resets it to defaults, which often fixes non-starting problems. That said, the Visual C+ stuff that is referenced with the specific error message might be necessary too.

  8. Massive stencil needed, 25'x150' for roof top graphic

I guess what I'm saying is I know how to chalk lines, and so on, but you're going to have to make a grid on that 25x150 of what, 5' squares? I've seen it done where you drive a nail in the corner and measure and so on to make the square. But you can't nail on the roof. So how do you get the...
  9. Massive stencil needed, 25'x150' for roof top graphic

Just curious how much you would charge for going up with your piece of paper and chalk to grid it out and cut in the outlines. After all, it will only take you a few minutes, right? Nobody has told how they would mark the grid on the roof membrane, and make sure that it's square, etc. without...

  12. Suggestions clean removal air release vinyl after 1 week?

Cleaning the adhesive of any kind of vinyl is so easy after only being on a car for a week, I would just whatever you are used to using. For the cut vinyl just use whatever you have on hand, and for printed strips and logos use whatever you normally use.

  14. Massive stencil needed, 25'x150' for roof top graphic

Everyone here uses that same supplier. Their normal price is $1/sq ft but there was a quantity discount for this size. And if you are concerned about weight, you could break it up into pieces. But, short of hiring someone to grid it out, I was trying to throw out a solution. If the OP knew how...
  15. Massive stencil needed, 25'x150' for roof top graphic

That size banner is $2812 from my wholesaler. Shipping est $200? So double the wholesale and we're at $6K. I doubt the layout of big block letters is going to take more than 10 minutes. Besides, the customer will pay whatever the OP wants to charge. He was figuring minimum $10K.
  16. Need Help Sign Wizard 5.1

We never had v. 5.1, but you can run v. 4.1 on Windows 10, so I don't see why 5.1 wouldn't work on Windows 7. Might have trouble if your dongle is the parallel port one and your computer doesn't have a parallel port. You can upgrade to a USB dongle though...
  17. Massive stencil needed, 25'x150' for roof top graphic

You could have it printed as a banner and then lay it down, cut out the letters and draw the pattern.

  19. CutContour Lines

A ruler and a good Olfa knife will get you a lot farther and faster with poster cutting than trying to use a plotter. Or get a cutter for trimming.
