you need to sub this out to a larger company and do it out of flex. Im still shocked a sign that size is plexi, how the hell is it still up there is my question, please post a pic of the sign itself
lighted pylon, channel letters, coro signs, routing, screen printed shirts.
I own 1 van and one plotter and thats good enough for me. I do all design work and all sales. You cannot produce lighted signs in house cheaper than you can purchase them UNLESS you are doing large quantities per...
I have a clause on my artwork that it is my property and I will get an attorney blah blah blah..BS! I would have to ask what kind of file you sent the guy. i always send out low res jpegs and if they are replicated its gonna be hard. As far as why did this guy do this to you, probably price...
it sure would help with another human however I would use a felt 6" squeegee and tape in middle and roll up one end and go at a little at a time. it will work but it will wear you out, Id do it dry
thats prtty cool however loading a full raceway with letters already mounted and using large screws thru the adjustable sliding tabs in back is quicker, IMO
We swing a sign over to wall and drive 1 large screw thru middle tab and level it up and then finish with other tabs...done
I dont run updates and "knock on wood" never had one take over my machine ....having said that I have removed several off others' computers that did run updates. Ironic isnt it. As far as an article written by Symantac on this issue, I would imagine their goal is to scare the h@ll out of people...
I would suggest you post a pic or layout of what you are doing, this seems like overkill to me. You mentioned using engraved cedar but then mentioned MDO, Im a little confused sir
I would fabricate a bracket that would go over the top of that beam and secure it and drill thru that part and tell them if no drilling you wont do job
Gotta agree with southpaw. Ill tell you another thing that spooks me, when a customer acts like "they dont care" they will be the pickiest ones and cause you the most grief. This whole job in my opinion is a disaster
if your using flexi to cut make it "show me" the art and stand back and watch it. Right before I got rid of my GCC graphtec it was doing same thing...POS!
My rollers were fine but the material in back would slide down the large material rollers and had no idea why
I usually park it in the sun and use razor scraper to lift it up but pull it off with fingers when i can. IF it is goign to be difficult and break off in little peices I tell them to find a detail shop that removes it. I dont have time for that.
for the script I would suggest Bromella and for the non serif I would go with volkswagen demi bold.......they wont match BUT it would be closer than suggested so far
also keep in mind whatever you are cutting for a client and whatever expenses you spend on cutting for them, they could leave you high and dry one day if they found a cheaper source. thats not being negative thats being realistic.
I still think outsourcing is a good bet
