  2. Fellers

We use Fellers a ton. Always great service. They have our orders to us same day if we order by 11am 95% of the time. The ther 5% of the time, we have what we need in a day, and that's for the odd ball stuff. As for pricing.. we have negotiated prices on the items we use most. The odd ball...
  3. Time Flies....

I'm booked for Turks & Caicos in June. Looks absolutely beautiful. I almost chose to go to Cabo San Lucas, but decided to go a little more exotic. My phone won't work there (I planned it that way!). I haven't had a vacation where my phone didn't ring off the hook ever. It's not a vacation...
  4. update for tonight Joe...

    Hang in there buddy.
  5. EFI Rastek T1000

I agree with Clark. Feed calibration is a non-issue--the belt is 4' deep. It holds the media down extremely well, and we haven't touched the feed calibration setting since about a week after we received the machine. We don't print on aluminum for a couple of reasons. One, the adhesion...
  6. selfish?

Take the old lady to the concert and leave the girls with a sitter and some pizza money.
  7. EFI Rastek T1000

Gerber Ion is now discontinued.. Also VERY slow. I looked at the Rastek printers last year before we bought our HP FB950 (now replaced with the FB500 and FB700). I agree that it looked light. It was also a slow machine. The Mutoh 1608HS is an even lighter printer. It can only handle a...

  10. Contact info for Keoni Denison? Formerly From Cranky Creative

Hi all, I can't seem to find his contact info anywhere. I messaged him on Facebook with no response yet. If someone could PM me a phone number or email for him, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
  11. Best place to buy a Zund?

Hmm.. I thought they had some mats for use with the router to help protect the belt. Sales guy said that it should last "indefinitely" if you don't run the router into it. You guys don't use these Mike? Also, do you have to premask acrylic before routering?
  12. HP FB700 / FB500 and white on acrylic?

We did the same thing with non-white ink and our FB950 (basically the same machine, but the 700 and 500 are the new model). We covered some prints on acrylic with mask and yanked the ink right off...

  16. Best place to buy a Zund?

Well, we do much more POP than cutting letters. We run tons of foamcore, styrene, PVC & Gator, with the occasional flat cut acrylic letters. The other big use of the machine would be to cut printed vinyl & banners. I'm not talking about plotter cutting, I'm talking about cutting pieces...
  17. Do you wear your own shirts?

Depends.. our admin, sales & design teams dress business casual. Production and installers wear branded T's.
  18. MS Backup Utility

We've been discussing his with our IT guy the past week or so. Right now we have two 10TB Synology file servers (running RAID 6) that are backed up nightly onto external HDD's. What we're looking at now is automating the nightly backup via the internet. We're planning on installing two more...
  19. Best place to buy a Zund?

So I'm looking at the Multicam site.. I don't see a vacuum feed table for cutting roll stock. Do they offer one?
  20. Best place to buy a Zund?

Wow.. everything I've ever been told and have seen has pointed squarely towards the Zund. I had pretty much made up my mind to go that way, but you guys are making me think again. For the price of a Zund we could add a MultiCam and another flatbed..
