Hmm.. I thought they had some mats for use with the router to help protect the belt. Sales guy said that it should last "indefinitely" if you don't run the router into it. You guys don't use these Mike? Also, do you have to premask acrylic before routering?

We did the same thing with non-white ink and our FB950 (basically the same machine, but the 700 and 500 are the new model). We covered some prints on acrylic with mask and yanked the ink right off...
