The local night club here has NO idea what font is used in their logo and the only thing they have vector is the "a" which leaves me no choice but to post up and ask for help once again...
Anyone know what font this is used in "aura"??
Thanks in advance
Matt
Hey guys, I have a customer with a white sprinter van that simply wants ONE window covered in plain white perforated vinyl -- nothing printed or cut from it.
I don't care what brand it is, I just need a piece 60" x 30" and the local shops here require that 10yards be bought at a time in perf...
For a project due tomorrow, customer wanted a rush.
Can someone ID the font used for the "M" in this logo???

Fair enough...Just wanted to make sure you had actually used it before you made the statement :) I know there's a lot of people who throw big statements around but have never actually used the products they're bashing.
We use DPF8000 on the top of snowboards and it was the only thing that DID...
Low energy application we end up using (printing) Arlon DPF8000 -- This stuff is so sticky...if it even touches the material before you press it down, it's stuck...VERY sticky, used for concrete etc. We used this material for snowboard wraps ;)
If DPF8000 doesn't stick..nothing will...
EXACTLY....there has to be a point where the customer has to come back and get things redone or changed...if it lasts 10+ years, you just essentially lost a customer for 10 years....and by then they won't remember who they got them done by in the first place.
yup. IT's a perforated cut that tells the blade to cut with special pressure in a perforated pattern, then you just pop the stickers out of the sheet wen it's done.
Make sure you include the price of a new cut strip everytime someone wants it though.... ;) For big orders, whats another $40...
I hate to say it but does this customer plan on being in business using the same kiosk for 10 years? I have reason to believe even a 7 year vinyl will last 10 if it's only indoors...You can't guarantee 10 years or ANY number of years on the vinyl for that matter, so don't beat yourself up over...
I exclusively use 651 unless the application absolutely must use 751....651 is thicker and easier to work with (less bubbling) especially if the customer is putting it on
