  1. Darn Dumpster Divers.....

I think our home trash was the most vile when the kids were in diapers. Get a whiff of a bag that's been fermenting for a couple of days in 90 degree heat will knock you on your butt. I like the idea of the waste ink... even better would be screen printing ink... That stuff NEVER dries.
  2. Apple, what a fad....

  3. Recommendations on a pen tablet

I'd gladly give a full report, but I'm not buying one. :scream: 2 years ago I bought a crappy tablet off of woot to get my feet wet. Having used a wacom for a limited time before that, the crappy tablet made me only want to go with another wacom. Here's my review for that one: It sucked...
  4. Apple, what a fad....

Add $40 Still tripling the cpu benchmark, DOUBLING the ram and tripling the hard drive

  6. Making a bed frame for myself.

I think you're going to tip it over when you sit on one of the front corners. The bigger beds probably didn't have that issue because it was wider. You might need to broaden your stance supports. Looks awesome though.
  7. A Better substrate mover....

I had a friend come in last night and cut down just about everything. The thought of doing all of this by myself inspired this thread because there will be plenty of times that I won't have this luxury. A Panel saw is def a future option and I like the idea of the hydraulic table too.
  8. A Better substrate mover....

I'm in the middle of a huge project and have had a need to cut down a lot of plywood ranging in thickness from 3/8" to 3/4" on my table saw. I'm not as young and spry as I once was and moving 30 sheets of plywood through a fence is a bit exhausting especially when I'm by myself. With the...

  10. rush job

Yes, I'd jack that rush charge through the roof. This ain't kinkos.
  11. Making a bed frame for myself.

What are you making it out of ?
  12. Apple, what a fad....

I've used both PC and Mac and both have their weaknesses and strengths, but the thing that I loathe about apple isn't the computer itself, but the the fanboy hipster mentality. It's a freakin' computer, not a way of life. If you take offense to this... maybe you're one of them....
  13. Hand Carved Ribbon....Step x Step

    Awesome. Love progress pics!
  14. Who owns the Logo?

I don't think it's a matter of who actually OWNS the logo. Its a matter of claiming someone else's work as your own (implied or not) and not giving fair acknowledgment to the creator.
  15. No Human Contact Day

I work into the night and usually into the next day... unfortunately more frequently than I plan. I can get by on 2 or 3 hours of sleep for a couple of days in a row if needed to finish something that needs to get done. Usually that is from me biting off more than I can handle. No one calls...
  16. More new "competition"!

    That;s what I was thinking
  17. Just because you got a better pan, does that make you a better chef?

"They have the people at walmart print in black and white so it becomes art"
  18. Shade Cloth

I think you'd be printing on mesh banner material. Any large print house could do these for you... like Merrit. I don't recall if Dennis from D&T has done these before, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
  19. Locate Utilities

Follow up your "stupid policy" with why you shouldn't dig without calling. Buried lines could cost you your business or your life. I haven't done too many ground installs, but I call on everyone. The last thing that I need is to hit power or a gasline. My neighbor lost a son about 10 years...
