Hi guys.. It's been a while. I walked a job site recently and some of the walls/counters were wrapped with a really thick laminate. So thick in fact that I couldn't even gouge it with a key. I was thinking it was a floor laminate, but that media being so heavy wouldn't stay vertical forever...

Same problem here with Black and Cyan only. This is my 2nd XR printer and 3rd full set of heads. I'm still seeing banding... It's definitely not user error.

Hey guys. My mom has some fancy embroidery machines at her house and I want to give her the opportunity to knock some shirts out for me. I have a DST and EMB file but need a PES. Can anyone here convert this for me/her?

That's all banner material right? Had this once with canvas and I couldn't figure it out. Then.. I fixed it. Can't promise it will work but try this. - keep a bit of tension on the media while you print the samples. Mine got banding (on XR-640) with canvas media until we applied tension to media...

Sounds like you may be over saturating. -Profile and linearize. Also- some medias don't print as well as others.

Update to all. Roland has been on top of my issues and backs their product 100%. I feel this is why I've always been so attracted to their products. I gave them a lot of input about things I've noticed with the printers + rip over the last 8 years and some things I might adjust. I hope they go...

Next update: 1: Finally ran the printer onto the takeup. It's tracking perfect for about 50' then walking again. When I say perfect, I mean perfect for 50'. Then all of a sudden it just starts dipping left and right. It's almost as if the weight affects it. 2: Roland is coming out next week...
