  1. The Bad Wrap update

Sergio, can you give us a brief description regarding your plans with this software? You said you purchased it back last month, will you be coming out with a complete new version of the program? You said that you are tweaking things but will you be coming out with new current vehicle templates...
  2. Looking for curved suspended sign track

Thank you Tim, I waiting for a reply on the Outwater FOGA system now. Does anyone else have any good ideas?
  3. Looking for curved suspended sign track

No, I checked them and they only have lightweight banner frames. That is just as well because I don't like dealing with Creative Banner, they will sell to anyone at full retail prices and they don't even have unique products. I never understand why anyone does business with them but I do...
  4. Using A Laser Level ???

I think laser levels can be a valuable tool. Of course as stated, vehicles are inherently not level and the ground can be not level but naturally, unless you were a fool, you would check those things first. Even if you don't use the laser level to check for level or plumb, you can still use it...
  5. Looking for curved suspended sign track

I'm looking for a source for curved suspended sign track to make some 10' round suspended signs. I know I've seen these when I wasn't looking for them and now I can't find them. I'm thinking these would be an extruded aluminum product and they would hold a semi-rigid panel, not a fabric or...
  6. Foodie help in Conn

Well there is an endless supply of good restaurants at Foxwoods, you can't go wrong with their buffet or there is a nice Asian restaurant in the hall that leads to MGM. I was supposed to be attending the show on Friday also but I'm not sure I can make it now. Whenever seafood is mentioned in CT...
  7. Good L shaped Desk

Try the Gallant series at Ikea for a very economical and sturdy desk. I'm about to outfit 4 new offices with that line. The tops are fully supported with a steel framework that absolutely will not warp.
  8. Neat Desk

Hey Squeegee....how's that Epson doing over there?
  9. Someone please explain gerber edge printers

I did a banner with 4 color process Edge printing that has been sitting in the sun for 6 years now and the print still looks perfect with no lamination.
  10. New member getting into sign field needs advice please!

As stated, you need another software plugin to work with Illustrator that will allow you to use your plotter direct from Illustrator, such as CoCut, Cutting Master Pro, Mimaki Finecut, etc.
  11. Sublimated brass plates?

For anyone who is recommending those Ricoh printers, I was wondering if they have to be run constantly to stay in good working order or can they sit for a few days at a time. Also, do they require any maintenance?
  12. Here we go again.. The true test for the LX850 year 2 .

Yea but I bet it smells a lot better in your shop using the LX 850!
  13. Need some reassurance...

I use the FlexiPrint L25500 Edition that typically comes free with the printer. I find that it does everything I need it to do and the cost is a no brainer. You can always go and buy Onyx later
  14. Test print

That's normal that the top and bottom edges of the test print don't line up. If you see gaps in the middle of the patteren, that is when you are having a problem. Your test print looks perfect, make sure you continue a good maintenace program so you keep it that way always!
  15. double sided foam tape?

Put a piece of vinyl on the other side of the glass to hide anything objectionable on the front side of the glass, such as the tape you are proposing.
  16. Self CLing White for L25500

I don't understand your question...is it that you can't find white static cling or you are having trouble printing white static cling? I've printed a lot of white static cling with no problem at all, so it is definately possible.
  17. Folding banner edges

Banner tape, like vinyl, has a pressure sensitive adhesive. Get yourself a J roller to compress the hem when using tape and you'll never have a problem with 90% of your banners. Sewing is neccessary if you have large banners that require reinforcement webbing, need to attach straps or rings for...
