For over a decade, I have done signs for a non profit. Last time I raised my base price for their signs was in 2019. I've seen coroplast in my area go up 40% since 2019 Inks have almost doubled, vinyl has had an increase etc. So I raised my prices based on past & current rates. I was...
I actually enjoyed the videos posted on YouTube of the individuals electrified trying to pull up signs. I print rolls upon rolls of vinyl to make signs. Now I actually have clients asking for card board signs, cause they fear their signs will be destroyed or vandalized. I'm also a print shop...
I've been in a print forum for over 25 years. We are printers that help each other out with daily issues. I had posted on the forum that 4Over had a retail company. I mistakenly called that number and they had told me you have to contact our wholesale number. Two months after that post...
I stopped using 4OVER when I found out they go after your accounts. I'm speaking about a decade ago. They took noticed of volume of orders coming from a particular client. We would send 8-10 orders a week. NYC Hospital account. Lucky we have a strong relationship.
Gino HELL NO! LOL If there was that much to figure out, it wouldn't be in our strike zone. Most we ever had to survey was 3 locations We came in at our price, with survey embedded. So I guess we do charge, but not listed in quote.
There are so many things I would love to do to these non complaint payors. I have send three bad clients a decade ago with a letter stipulating that since payment hasn't been made. You leave me no choice.
To write off this debt, we will use IRS form 1099-A, which will show the IRS that the $X...
I've had issues in the past with many files submitted by clients. Must have no clue that their systems have problems. 7 years ago I purchased Eset system. I had no problems since. A good prevention software can help you analyze a file before opening.

Obviously using an 18 oz material will help. When we receive orders that are more than 20' long. Every 2' we reinforce behind grommets with a square piece of coroplast. Takes a little more time and effort, but ultimately secures it better than not having it.

Huh? Market? You are your own market. You set you own price. If I ever were to be involved in setting a market price. I am out of here. I haven't worked this hard to become a business where I have a set price. On average, we sell @$9 sq ft for printing. Lowest I will go is $4 sq ft...
I've been using some old BIg Squeegies I've purchased aluminum units but table is not flat enough for them. The plastic units work well on one side of table. What I'm loving in this video. I will be able to also do laminations. Can you recommend a unit?
TIA
I've seen videos that a worker was applying vinyl on irregular boards and the usual sizes. Any equipment that can be used instead of an $12K full table unit?
TIA
What is preventing you from bringing it in-house? I purchased my first unit when I was outsourcing $1200-$1500 a month. If you are no where near that volume than continue outsourcing, but don't get upset for 25¢ increase.
I have an FC7000MK-2-75 that is ready to retire. Great for 30" but I want to go up to 54" also. I noticed there is no mention of Summas. Any reason why?
It is an exciting New Year waiting for you now. Enjoy all the mistakes you are going to endure. Because the learning curve will be quick and just a little $$ painful in the beginning. Stand proud when using your Toy. It's soooooo going to pay off.
