Not in a long time. Operator can only relay what you say. You can tell them it's a scam, but they will act like you're not talking to them. I just hang up.
Unless you have the time and resources to put into and sell promo items I'd save my money. I would agree if you have a dedicated person that handles all the promo and that's all they do you can make money at it.
My girl friend uses them and has the same problems.

We stumbled across this solution by accident one day. The upright OSB board acts as a kind of spring to hold the substrates in place. To get them out you just pull it and it pops out towards you. Pull out what you need and them pop it back into place. Just thought I'd share.
Get a new strip. Pretty cheap and sounds like it needs to be replaced. And some blades while your at it. Don't forget to adjust your pressure with the new blade and strip.
