My customers are sometimes supplying the art given to them by the customer. I believe they are expecting the exact same QR code back from me. I don't want to have to go back and forth convincing them that a new code will do the same thing. If I keep arguing that it is, they may go elsewhere...
I don't know. Customers expect from me a file with nice crisp corners. A live trace will not provide acceptable results for most of my customers when the original is that small
HOLY COW! Finally back to the original reason for the post.. What happens when you get something like this? Live trace will not do the trick
I picked this at random since it is what I typically get as art
I went to a site today and this was a first. They have designed the webpage to look exactly like the Mac's finder window. I have seen these before but they always had the Windows explorer window instead
Therein lies the problem. I don't know if the qr code given to me has anything extra added to it. I am not trying to create the code for the first time but rather, trying to make the codes match in a usable format
My own software? This sounds like a futile problem. So QR codes are not standardized?
I would think that 90% of the people that produce QR codes are using web based software
Hmm, Malkin might be right. I googled a random QR Code that was a jpeg. I then used redlaser to scan in the code. It gave me the meaning of the code. So I went to the QR Code generator software that I have used and OMGsideburns suggested and punched in the same info and the code comes out...
I just tried a test file with redlaser. I already have the app. I thought it was only for the old line barcodes
Thank you. Now i will have to try it with a real world qr code
thanks but I want the opposite. I am given a QR Code already. I know how to create the code but if given the code, how do you know what was used to input the code so you can RECREATE it to match
I am being sent jpegs of already created codes
There are sites that will let you input info and get a QR Code but I am wondering if there is a way to take an existing jpeg image of a QR Code and decipher what data was input to produce the code?
In other words.... let's say someone gives me a QR code image that is small and I need to...
From what i have read a self extracting zip is an exe file and I think that is something that most Windows users are uncomfortable with. Many exe files can unknowingly install viruses and in some cases some users have it setup to block all exe attachments
