  1. 4x4' rent signs

Why? I don't do bulk discounts on such a small job. I rarely do them on big jobs. So at the start, you are letting your customer dictate your price to you. I actually think faux dibond is a bit of overkill for this type of sign. Your price seems more like for coro. Love....Jill
  2. Stencil Supplier Needed

  3. Crease in sandblast

I also misunderstood your question. I think you'll have to re-do. There is no way I would use a heat gun on glass. I try to apply etched glass vinyl dry, or sometimes I use Rapid Tac 2. Love....Jill
  4. Have you ever tried to sell your distributor on a specific brand?

I am lucky enough to have several local suppliers, so if I need Arlon I call one and if I need Oracal I call the other. Glantz brought in Ronan at my request. All I did was ask them. Love....Jill
  5. Trifold brochure

Even plain white would be nicer as a background color.
  6. Trifold brochure

Wayyyyy too much text and I really dislike the background color. Keep the copy short and to the point. In this "instant" society we live in, nobody will take the time to read that. Perhaps lighten up the background color by using a white gradient. That color makes me think of a 1960s mental...
  7. Anyone want to trade likes on FACEBOOK?

Thanks for the likes. It's hard to "like" a personal page tho so make sure you have a bizpage.
  8. Critique Please!

I still think the flourishes throw it off balance. They are too ornate and old-fashioned (as is the main font) especially when used with a modern-looking button. Here are two more ideas, one with Wade Dynamic and one with Truckin'. I think you need a cleaner, slightly retro font.
  9. Critique Please!

Trucker thick & thin might be a better option for canvas & upholstery. While I also love Ace I feel it's just too fancy for this application.
  10. accepting credit cards II (non swipers)

  13. Critique Please!

I like it but I think the fonts do not go together at all. I'd take a fine line and run it out from the circle and make it go between CANVAS and UPHOLSTERY. I'd make it look like stitching. I'd eliminate the ampersand and the flourishes, but keep the border the same on all sides. Use a...
  14. Painted farm sign.

Not really. I enjoyed every second of it and got paid a pretty penny.
  15. A employees Christmas present

Craig, you did a wonderful job. I hope the gift was appreciated by the employer. Sometimes people are just too cheap to realize what a good sign can do for their business. I am glad that their employee cared more than they did! Love....Jill
  16. Coroplast sheets

To be honest I hate giving you advice because you're in my same county. But this is not something readily available. You can get coro from N Glantz in Monroeville, they are our best local supplier and they deliver. You're going to have to butt two sheets, and it's going to be a cheesy short term...
  17. Something a bit different

Very impressive and elegant. Nice job!! Love....Jill
  18. Best Paint ?

Do not use latex if you want vinyl to stick to it. I usually use lettering or bulletin enamel. Be sure to seal the edges well with TiteBond 2 glue and primer. Love....Jill
  19. Laycon Signs Fergus, Ontrio

Are you familiar with Steve and Barb Shortreed? They are traditional sign folks from your same town. Welcome from PA. Love....Jill
  20. Installing long stripes on box truck

I would have used a chalk line, then tightened that up with some Staedler pencil marks about every 18". Then taped the edge with fine line tape, burnished well, then went over the fine line with good masking tape, then rolled the color on using Ronan's Speednamel. Hit any bubbles with a 1"...
